FLINTSHIRE AND H.S. 1890 AND GRANDSON OF RICHARD VENABLES KYRKE OF GWERSYLLT HILL, DENBIGHSHIRE AND MOUNT VERNON IN THE ISLE OF MAN. HE WAS A D.L. FOR FLINTSHIRE. J.P. FLINTSHIRE AND DENBIGHSHIRE AND H.S. FOR FLINTSHIRE 1892. HE ALSO SERVED IN THE 1ST, V.B. R.W. FUS AND RETIRED AS CAPTAIN. HE TOOK GREAT INTEREST IN LOCAL MATTERS AND HELD MANY OFFICIAL POSITIONS IN THE TWO COUNTIES. HE MARRIED AS HIS SECOND WIFE SEPT 20, 1897 EDITH HANNAH NICHOLSON, YOUNGEST DAUGHTER OF JOHN RALPH SHAW OF ARROWE PARK, CHESHIRE. H.S. D.L. AND J.P. FOR THAT COUNTY. HE DIED MARCH 27, 1925 AND WAS INTERRED HERE.
